Effective November 2, 2008, Eschenbach Optik of America and ASH Technologies, Ltd. have reached agreement whereby Eschenbach has become the exclusive North American distributor of video magnification products manufactured by ASH Technologies.
Eschenbach Optik of America, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will now be the exclusive source for all of ASH’s high-quality video products, including the Quicklook series of portable video magnifiers. ASH Technologies, founded by 3 pioneers in the video magnification field in 1984, produces a wide range of products, from the pocket-sized Quicklook series, to the portable Fusion, Liberty Solo, and Opti Series, to the Prisma, Presto and Eclipse portable desktop series.
Both companies feel this new relationship will leverage each other’s strengths in a complementary fashion, providing greater benefits to low vision practitioners and their patients. Eschenbach’s distribution and service capability, coupled with ASH’s product line which focuses on portability, make for a new dynamic in the growing low vision market.
